A USERS GUIDE TO ME Nick’s journey into tattooing began at the age of 18 in his hometown of Dayton, Ohio. Originally studying graphic design, he soon realized his true passion lay in creating art on skin rather than paper. With a clear vision for his future, Nick made the bold decision to leave school and dedicate himself fully to the craft of tattooing. He launched his career at Blue Byrd Tattoo, where he spent the next decade sharpening his skills and building a strong foundation under the mentorship of highly respected artists like David Klaiber, Josh Williams, and Kyle Cotterman of Distinction Tattoo. Always eager to grow and push his abilities even further, Nick eventually transitioned to Black Skull Tattoo Collective, another well-known shop in Dayton. There, he had the opportunity to work alongside Josh Williams, one of his earliest mentors, and continue developing his craft in a vibrant, creative environment. After two years of growth and exploration at Black Skull, Nick decided it was time for a new chapter — bringing his experience, passion, and artistry down to Florida. Throughout his career, Nick has cultivated a versatile skill set, allowing him to approach a wide range of subjects and styles with confidence. However, he is especially recognized for his exceptional work in realistic soft black and gray tattoos, as well as his stunning portrait tattoos. Nick takes great pride in working closely with each client to create meaningful, personalized pieces that they can cherish for a lifetime.
